Zonemedia s Zone Reality Channel in Asia is to create two brand new locally produced shows and give the channel look a makeover in the coming weeks, it was announced today by Zonemedia s Chief Programming Officer, Chris Sharp.
The first of the new shows to be produced is A LIFE EXTRAORDINARY which features real life events and people and includes paranormal happenings and inexplicable events. Stories will come from all over India and include interviews with relatives or the subjects themselves, using reconstructions and graphics to recount their astonishing stories.
The second show, FOOL PROOF, looks at different belief systems. It pits a cynic against a believer, and consults experts, scientists and ordinary people. Partly shot in the studio with demonstrations and partly on the road, clairvoyance, tarot readings, psychic beliefs are all reviewed and explained.
Further new programme commissions for Asia will be announced shortly.
Zone Reality's Asian feed will also soon have uniquely created, Asian-themed on-screen channel idents and filler programming which are currently being filmed in India, Singapore and Thailand.
Chris Sharp at Zone Reality comments, "It is extremely important to us to reflect the mood and voice of our viewers and we have decided that the time is right to make the channel even more relevant to our audiences. We believe the new look and feel of the channel, as well as almost 40 half hours of original, locally created programming will be welcomed throughout the Asian region."
